Fluorite (rare locality)

Item Description

An attractive rare locality specimen that comes from a find dating back a few years in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia. This small cabinet specimen hosts fine quality, very gemmy, sharp, lustrous, cubic green Fluorite measuring up to 2.1 cm on edge. There is no matrix on the exterior, but you can see through the Fluorites to a bit of matrix underneath the crystals. Please note: These specimens were originally labeled as coming from the Choir area, and were mined by Spirifer Minerals, but the correct locality as of the time of this posting is the Sümber District, Govisumber Province, Mongolia. Very few of these are on the market, so if you collect Fluorites, don't miss out on this attractive specimen from this remote part of the world.
