An impressive near large cabinet sized display specimen from recent new finds (after 2015) at an unexpected worldwide locality - the Larkin's Quarry in Ireland. This locality in recent years has provided collectors with fine quality beautiful Fluorite specimens, ranging in color from light to dark purple. This beautiful and showy piece is loaded with dozens of very sharp, lustrous, gemmy, cubes measuring up to 1.1 cm on edge, that show distinct "phantom" zoning on the edges, sitting on host rock matrix. The crystals show a color "shift" from a richer purple hue in sunlight to more of a silvery-purple tone in warmer indoor lighting. Nearly every crystal on this piece is in superb condition, and it's difficult to illustrate the gemminess in the photos / video, but many of the crystals are highly transparent. Pieces this size are seldom seen, and if you're a worldwide Fluorite collector, this is something that is rarely available on market in this size and quality. Valued $2k-$2,500.
