Item Description

Fluorite specimens are RARE from this famous locale, renowned for world-class REE species, like bastnasite-(Ce) and monazite-(Ce). Intergrown, sharp, cuboctahedral fluorite crystals with a light green opaque coating form a nifty thumbnail from the Herb Obodda Collection # 1756. The contact on back reveals that the crystals are glassy, translucent and near colorless. Purple fluorescence. An excellent and rare thumbnail.
