Item Description
Sharp, well-formed, translucent octahedra of Fluorite measuring up to 1.2 cm with minor Quartz from an undisclosed locality in Catron County, New Mexico. The color of the Fluorites is mostly green, but there are slight purple zones as well. A cool Fluorite specimen to add to a worldwide Fluorite suite or a collection of mienrals from New Mexico. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12402). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
