Fluorite (RARE India - fluorescent)

Item Description

Indian fluorite from this obscure carbonatite complex is RARE and this is an excellent piece. Beautiful golden-yellow, transluent and lustrous cubes with frosted faces are aesthetically intergrown on this showy specimen. The cubes reach 3.2 cm. Two cleaved corners and two bruised edges are noted in the interior, but are certainly only a modest detraction to this very uncommon and highly representative example from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Purple fluorescence. Value??
