Item Description

A hard to find specimen from the lesser-known Four de Cluzel Mine in the Department of Tarn in southwestern France (about 60 miles northeast of Toulouse). These are contemporary specimens, but still not commonly seen for sale. Their enticing rich golden color, combined with good-sized, sharp, lustrous cubic crystals makes for very attractive and desirable specimens. This piece is a very attractive crystal with excellent gemminess on one corner and a "druse" of little sparkling white Quartz crystals on the front face. If you collect worldwide Fluorites, or specifically French Fluorites, this is something that I'll bet you don't have in your collection, and it's a worthwhile pickup for the size, quality and color.
