Rich golden-yellow translucent fluorite cubes with silky lustre faces are aesthetically intergrown and form a RARE sculptural and aesthetic large plate from Okorusu. The impressive large cube is 4.8 cm and the gemmy blue-green corners add contrast and pizzazz. The cubes have an incredible GOLDEN GLOW, when back lit! Rich purple fluorescence. "Yellow fluorite is rare from Okorusu, and the type that has purple corners on the edges is even rarer." (See Page 394 in the fine Mineralogical Record article, 2018, Vol. 49, No. 3.) The sawed back enhances the display quality of this exceptional large example from the Shields Flynn Collection.
