Item Description
Striking, beautiful, lustrous, transparent to translucent, intergrown, variably blue-green fluorite octahedrons with frosted faces form an impressive mounded specimen from the recent 2015 find at this obscure skarn-type Pb-Zn mine, where mining started in 2008 (MINDAT). The unique colored octos reach 5.5 cm on edge. MINDAT does not list fluorite from this boron-rich deposit. A dramatic 360-degree piece, that is pristine, except for the acceptable periphery wear. A RARE and excellent fluorite. Bright purple fluorescence. Value? We feel $750-900 is fair for rare style, quality and size.
