Item Description
Three, frosty mint-green fluorite cuboctahedrons, to 3.1 cm wide, are aesthetically set on one side of the sculptural, 360-degree, intergrown cluster of terminated milky quartz crystals.The fluorites are actually quite gemmy. The cube faces are glass-clear into the interiors with the adjacent densely stepped-growth octahedral faces. Purple LW UV fluorite fluorescence. Ex Kurt Hefendehl Collection, from the 1990s finds here. He was a well-known German collector who amassed a world-wide collection of over 6000 pieces. This is an uncommonly colored and excellent fluorite combination from the area, as many of the fluorites from this area are purple.
