Item Description
A very fine, rich and showy, CABINET, combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Sweet Home Mine. Glassy, pretty purple, fluorite cubes cover the bottom half of this sculptural plate. Mirror-bright, highly striated, brass-yellow pyrite cubes to 1.8 cm are aesthetically clustered along the crest of the piece and are very well accented by needle quartz crystals, a very small cluster of Sweet Home rhodos and a striking, 2.5 cm, jauntily angled, highly lustrous, reddish-black huebnerite blade. Micro huebnerite blades in clusters also richly cover the piece. This is an outstanding large combination piece in excellent condition with an exceptionally rich coverage in fluorite and having a large, well-formed huebnerite crystal. Valued at $900. Pieces of this size and combination quality are seldom available today, except from advanced recycled collections.
