Item Description
An extremely rare specimen from a small find of beautiful, sparkly, purple fluorite, that has partially coated and actually I s in the process of pseudomorph/replacement of a plate of dogtooth calcite crystals! The sparkle is in part due to a an overgrowth of drusy quartz, but the fluorite is also nice and bright in itself. The tiny fluorites are both cubes and cuboctahedrons. A very nifty accent are the tiny corsage-like, diverging sprays of hemimorphite blades. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but is a very modest detrction. It is a very fascinating piece from a unique find! You seldom see them for sale. Ex Consie Prince Collection.
