Fluorite (''phantom'' crystal)

Item Description

Here we have a good quality, classic, sharp, gemmy, cubic (with dodechadral modifcations on the eges) specimen of Fluorite from the Fluorite Mine in Valzergues, France. The crystal shows a beautiful golden hue in the interior with a very think purple "phantom" zone line that immediately transitions into a lovely blue-green color on the exterior faces. The front side of the specimen is in great shape, but it is contacted on the back where it was removed from the pocket wall. Good quality and very showy for the locality and hard to find on the market these days. Priced at $900 in the inventory.
