Fluorite ("phantom" crystal)

China keeps producing great quailty, crystallized display specimens and has provided collectors with more fine quality minerals than virtually any other country in recent memory. Here we have a very attractive cubic crystal of multi-color, "phantom" Fluorite with good luster and very sharp faces sitting on Mica matrix. Depending upon the light in which the piece is viewed, one can see green, purple and blue hues in the crystal. Difficult to photograph, but a good representative Fluorite from this contemporary classic locality.
