Item Description

A beautiful, gem, color-zoned, 2.0 x 2.0 x 1.8 cm, light violet fluorite cube with a sharp dark violet edge phantom dominates this rich and showy large 3-dimensional fluorite specimen from the famous Berbes area mines. The cube is nearly pristine, with only a modest corner cleave. The specimen has two fine display views. Modest purple fluorescence. Most of the interior is in good shape. Periphery wear and scattered bruising are noted. This remains a rich and highly representative large example of the species and locale from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 572.
