Item Description

A hard to find display specimen from the historick San Juan mountains of Colorado. This association specimen from the Longfellow Mine comes from the collection of Rich Kosnar, who according to the hand-written label on the base of the piece states that it was mined in 1956. The crystallized plate of dark metallic Tetrahedrite crystals is highlighted by a single cubic, lilac crystal of Fluorite creating a very pleasing effect. Old-time, classic material, next to impossible to find on the market, and rather valuable to collectors who know what it is.
