Item Description

A classic and very showy combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. Glassy, nearly transparent, lustrous, pretty purple fluorite cubes to 1.8 cm have nifty color-zoning and stepped-growth faces. The interpenetrating cubes are very aesthetically scattered on the 3-dimensional matrix of both highly lustrous, jet-black sphalerite and rubyjack sphalerite. Periphery wear is noted, but is a very modest detraction to this striking Elmwood combo piece. Displays beautifully from two directions! Ex Consie Prince Collection.
