Item Description

Super-luscious, rich grape-purple, fluorite cubes cover the mounded matrix of partially gemmy rubyjack sphalerite on this striking, above-average color-wise, specimen from the famous Elmwood Mine. The transparent to translucent cubes, to 1.7 cm, have very intense, stepped-growth faces, giving a flashy, scintillating look and classic, darker purple, edge phantoms. Very few bruised corners and edges, along with the periphery wear are noted. This color of purple is about as rich as it gets from here. Older material from the Consie Prince Collection.
