Item Description
Classic gemmy light mint-green fluorite cuboctahedrons with satin luster faces from the well-known mid-2000s finds at the Gibraltar Mine at famed Naica. The impressive dense cluster, dominated by the imposing 2.8 cm crystal at the crest, is aesthetically set on the matrix of mainly sphalerite, but includes golden pyritohedrons and chalcopyrite sphenoids. Purple fluorescence. A very fine and sculptural combination example from the finds. Valued at $800-1000.
