Item Description
It's interesting to think that there are only a handful of minerals found at the Elmwood Mine, but these specimens are among the most recognizable minerals in the world. The world famous purple Fluorites are a favorite among collectors for their fantastic color, gemminess and size. This large thumbnail / toenail sized piece features sharp, gemmy, purple cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 8 mm on edge sitting on a crystallized group of lustrous, "Ruby Jack" reddish-brown Sphalerite. A very nice piece of this classic material from Elmwood.
