Item Description

The Elmwood Mine in Tennessee is well-known for producing some amazing Fluorite specimens. These specimens are not only instantly recognizable, but have also found their way into collections around the world for their excellent size, quality, color and displayability. This piece is a wonderful specimen from this storied locale featuring a sharp, gemmy, soft purple color cubic crystal measuring 4.3 cm on edge sitting beautifully atop dark reddish-brown "Ruby Jack" Sphalerite matrix. The front/display side of the Fluorite is in fine condition, with only one tiny cleave on the back corner. Such excellent presentation and displayability in this wonderful specimen from this classic locality. Valued $1,500.
