Smoky quartz is very rare from the famous Shangbao Mine. This outstanding and aesthetic combination piece from the Bill Larson Collection features a very glassy, 2.8 cm, blue fluorite cube with pretty purple color zoning and a striking, etched, beveled, corner. The fluorite cube is beautifully set on the plate of smokies. Very, very nearly pristine, the fluorite cube is pristine and an infinitesimal bit of termination wear is noted on the large smoky. This is very fine, contemporary classic and rare material from this noted locale.
