Item Description

A classic purple fluorite specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. Gorgeous intergrown fluorite cubes to 2.5 cm are very aesthetically set on rubyjack sphalerite. The translucent, highly lustrous cubes have super purple color, scintillating, stepped-growth faces and beautiful, darker purple, color-zoned edges. This is classic, color, form and habit from Elmwood. The viewable crystals are nearly pristine, with only one very trivial bit of edgewear. The partial contact is totally out of sight on the back. Get a VERY GOOD one, while you can, from our small stash. These were found in one pocket, long ago. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
