Item Description
A classic purple fluorite specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. Two gorgeous intergrown fluorite cubes are very jauntily perched on rubyjack sphalerite. The translucent, highly lustrous, cubes have super purple color, scintillating, stepped-growth faces and beautiful, darker purple, color-zoned edges. This is classic, color, form and habit from Elmwood. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, a gently cleaved corner on the large cube (4.1 x 4.0 cm) and a modest bit of edgewear is noted on the small cube. Get a good one, while you can, from our small stash. These were found in one pocket, long ago. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
