Botryoidal fluorite is rare worldwide, with some of the very finest examples coming from Mahodari. This superb large combination piece is dominated by the striking, 5.0 cm, lustrous, translucent, "egg yolk" aesthetically set in the curved vug lined with very glassy quartz points. The pristine botryoid GLOWS, when backlit! Specimens of this size and very high quality are only available through recycled collections. We value this very highly and have seen specimens, such as this, sell for many thousands of dollars at major shows.
