Some of the very finest examples of rare worldwide botryoidal fluorite have been coming from Mahodari since the mid-1990s. This superb large combination piece is dominated by the striking, 4.0 cm, lustrous, translucent, honey-yellow "egg yolk" aesthetically set in the curved vug lined with very glassy quartz points and a few tiny fluorite balls. The pristine botryoid GLOWS, when backlit! Specimens of this size and very high quality are only available through recycled collections. From an East Coast collection and comes with the former dealer label with a $3000 price. Valued very highly.
