Fluorite on Quartz on Fluorite ("floater" specimen)

Item Description

A really cool specimen from the Qinglong Mine featuring dark royal purple cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 1.1 cm on edge sitting atop a layer of white semi-drusy Quartz which are coating a preexisting layer of a pale green Fluorite cubes underneath. The combination of the three colors along with the attractive "outlines" of the Quartz around the Fluorites makes for a very eye-catching specimen. The back of the piece is completely crystallized with micro grey Quartz and "dusty" purple Fluorite, so the piece is actually a "floater" as there is no obivous point of attachment. The piece is in great condition overall and looks beautiful up close. Priced in the inventory at $1,200.
