There is no doubt that Swiss and French pink fluorites are the Holy Grail to fluorite collectors, so to have a quality CABINET come available is a true find. This one is quite unusual! The fluorites richly and attractively drape the scuptural matrix of milky quartz crystals. All of the many gemmy octahedrons, to 1.2 cm, are a very pretty pink with excellent luster and sparkle to them, especially the crystals on the right end! However, most of the remaining octos are included with varying amounts of chlorite. The included fluorites present a striking contrast to the beautifully pink and gemmy crystals. The combination as a whole is striking and unusual, so you can see why it was in this collection. Fine fluorites from this locality are not that common and are highly desirable.
