Item Description
Home to the world's greatest Rhodochrosites, the Sweet Home is also know for other specimens, notable among them its Fluorite on Quartz. Here, we have lovely 4-5 mm, lustrous, sky-blue Fluorite cubes decorating a matrix of sharp Quartz needles. Classic for the locality, and very aesthetic. The blue Fluorites are gemmy to translucent, with a small amount of internal clouding to add character to the crystals. Surprisingly, there is a second generation of Fluorite growing along the bottom. These cubes reach an impressive 1.9 cm! on edge. Blue with purples cores, these larger Fluorites have a high luster. Significant on their own merits, they add greatly to the quality of this small cabinet.
