As is the case with many Chinese localities, the famous Yaogangxian Mine has given collectors superb quality Fluorite specimens. This piece came out about 15+ years ago (early 2000s), and is a wonderful example of the material. This beautiful display specimen hosts sharp, well-formed, gemmy, purple and green colored cubic crystals Fluorite measuring up to 2.6 cm on edge which is associated with wonderfully contrasting silvery-grey colored Arsenopyrite crystals and GEM quality, colorless Quartz prisms sitting on a slab of matrix. Overall, there is very little damage, and it's still remarkably showy as you can see. These pieces are certainly now considered classics, so if you collect Chinese minerals or worldwide Fluorites, don't miss out on this cabinet sized attractive colorful display piece.
