Item Description

The famous De'an Mine has produced some of the largest, most displayable and iconic Fluorite specimens from any Chinese locality. This small cabinet display specimen features a wonderful, gemmy, purple (with a slight reddish overtone) Fluorite crystal sitting atop white and soft beige colored quartz matrix. The crystal shows textbook combinations of cubic and dodecahedral faces and it GLOWS with color when backlit. The Fluorite measures 2.4 cm across. This is an exceptional older specimen from the first finds in 2002-2003. Valued at $1,800 as very little high quality material from this mine is available on the market now.
