Fluorite on Quartz and Schorl, with Hyalite Opal

Superb plate of gorgeous, deep green Fluorite cubes from the Okorusu locale of Namibia. The Fluorites have a bright, silky luster, sharp well-defined edges, and they are color-zoned. The cores ares deep green, and the outer layers are almost clear. The largest of the cubes is an impressive 3.2 cm on edge. As usual there is some edgewear from the mining but it is trivial. An excellent specimen with great impact and unusually sharp phantoms.
