Item Description

Rare, colorful and sculptural pseudomorph from an obscure locality in the well-known Tombstone District of Arizona. Densely intergrown small lavender, translucent fluorite octahedrons with waxy lustre faces totally cover the striking, sculptural two-sided boxwork crust of quartz pseudomorphs after the thin calcite septae. Both sides are dramatic on this impressive combination rarity. Comes with a label from respected Arizona specialist, author and dealer, Les Presmyk. Valued at $900.
