Item Description
Lovely combination piece with cubes of pink Fluorite perched perfectly on a single crystal of sharp, well-formed Quartz. The pink cubes are stepped, and they have a purple edging to them that really complements the lighter pink. The fluorescence is a vivid purple and the cubes in the cluster range up to 1 cm. Good specimens such as this from Schlaggenwald, Bohemia, Czech Republic tend to be significantly old, and are considered European classics. Excellent aesthetics and the Fluorites just below the Quartz termination are like ornate epaulets on a uniform. Formerly in the Olomucensis University collection. This is a really rare locality combination and beautiful as well!
