Fluorite on Quartz

Item Description

A showy and excellent mounded specimen of intergrown, translucent, "Blanchard-blue", fluorite cubes richly piled atop a quartz matrix from the famous Blanchard Mine of New Mexico. The iron-stained quartz underneath some of the cubes gives them a yellow cast. The fluorites on the top of the piece are pristine and sidewear on two sides, mainly on the quartz, is minimally detracting. Contemporary classic material.
