Item Description

Beautiful, GEM/gemmy, color-zoned crystals of cuboctahedral Fluorite on Quartz matrix with minor Pyrite from the Shangbao Mine of China. The transparent, TV-like cubes have good luster and preferential, stair-step corners. The color combination is very attractive, and the overall quality is good for the locality. The largest crystal measures 2.5 cm. The piece comes with a label from the famous and recently deceased mineral dealer, Larry Conklin. Valued at $800.
