Fluorite on Quartz

Item Description

Cluster of intergrown, green and gemmy Fluorite cubes from the famous Erongo Mountains. The main cube is 2 cm, and the apple-green color is accented by deep green corners. The gemminess is very good, and the undulating surface of the faces gives it a distinct appearance. The Fluorites grew on a gemmy Quartz crystal, and of course all are contacted at the bottom where it was removed from the mine. A fine, aesthetic specimen of one of Erongo's best-known mineral species.
