Item Description

Yaogangxian is well-know for it large mineral suite, as well as the ores it has produced during recent decades of mining. Fluorites from there have always been desirable, and they often have a distinct look to them. This 2.6 cm crystal certainly fits that mold, being cubic with clear, gemmy interiors and a dark, purple blue phantom just below the surface. The edges on this crystal are slightly uneven due to growth patterning, which is unusual, and the fluorescence is classic, intense blue. The Fluorite displays well nestled on a cluster of Quartz.
