Fluorite on Quartz

Item Description

A beautiful example of these distinctive Fluorites from the Navidad Mine featuring several highly modified / complex groups of a medium purple color measuring up to 1.6 cm across, sitting on cream colored Quartz matrix. The Fluorites are primarily octahedral in form, but they feature dozens if not hundreds of tiny little faces when viewed up close. The Fluorite have a mixture of sparkling luster on certain faces with more of a matte luster on others. They're actually quite gemmy when backlit and look beautiful in person.
