Item Description
A stunning, 6.5 x 6.0 cm, translucent, rich grape-purple compound cuboctahedral fluorite crystal dramatically dominates this very aesthetic and sculptural large specimen. The subtle stepped-growth faces have satin luster and add much character. The large crystal is beautifully flanked by smaller fluorites and the milky quartz crust coating underlying fluorites is a super contrast and typical accessory. Back lighting reveals reveals a gorgeous glow of cranberry-red color to the gemmy/translucent fluorites. Common 10 years ago circa 2008-2012, you don't see much around today.
