Fluorite on Quartz

An exotic looking and dramatically sculptural large fluorite and quartz combination from the famed Yaogangxian Mine. A weird looking 4.5 x 4.0 x 3.4 cm cluster of multi-hued compound cubic fluorite crystals is artistically perched on the crest of a sculptural cluster of parallel-growth terminated quartz crystals. Very glassy, water-clear blue to green fluorite cubes with dark purple interiors are strikingly overgrown on a larger, translucent, light purple cube with frosted faces. The 3.0 cm fluorite cluster of similar cubes at the base along with the nearby terminated quartz points adds more character. Complete all-around, the upper fluorite cluster is pristine. The back hosts multiple quartz points, as a bonus. The attachment is at the base of this impressive, highly unusual and colorful large fluorite and quartz combination from the well-known locale.
