Item Description

There are many Chinese localities that have produced excellent Fluorite specimens in the last 20+ years, and the famous Yaogangxian Mine has given collectors some of the best examples from the entire country. This small cabinet specimen hosts a group sharp, very lustrous, well-formed, gemmy, light purple colored cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring 2.5 cm across aesthetically sitting on prismatic, milky white to GEM QUALITY Quartz crystal matrix. The central Fluorite crystal is NOT broiken, it has a bizarre etching on the edge, but after looking at it closely with a loupe, I can see it's crystallized. The same etching can be seen on one of the corners of the other Fluorites for reference. These specimens are certainly now considered classic material is, so if you collect Chinese minerals or worldwide Fluorites, don't miss out on this attractive colorful display piece.
