Item Description

A cluster of rich purple Fluorite is perched on several Quartz crystals for dramatic contrast on this miniature from Klein Spitzkopje, Namibia. There are four, rounded, octahedral crystals from 1 to 1.9 cm crystals that make up the cluster and they have a saturated grape-purple color and sit on a parallel grouping of at least a dozen, translucent to milky Quartz crystals to 4 cm, all of which are doubly terminated. It is a highly contrasting and well-balanced piece with no damage. Note that this remarkable cute miniature is from the famous topaz locale, where fluorite is very rare - and NOT from the more common fluorite locations of Namibia.
