Fluorite on Quartz

Item Description

Massive deep purple intergrown fluorite cubes exhibiting intricate and stepped crystal faces resting on a bed of quartz druze on host rock matrix. The main two 6-7 cm intergrown Fluorites are translucent, in near pristine condition and are the highlight of the specimen. It is noted that there is an incomplete crystal adjacent to the main crystals, however by placing that crystal as the base as you display it, it is highly minimized. A interesting crystal form for Zhejiang Province with mesmerizing symmetry, but from an unknown specific locality. Again, another of the oddities that drifted into the markets during COVID years, when the usual channels were not in place and location info disappeared along the way.
