Item Description

A 1.9 cm, transparent, pretty pink fluorite octahedron is aesthetically set in the bend of the pearlescent, bladed muscovite-covered matrix on this attractive specimen from Pakistan. The faces on the sharp octo are lightly frosted. Two smaller fluorites are noted on the edge of the piece. A small bit of barely noticeable bruising is noted on a termination edge face and the base has been sawed to enhance the considerable display quality. An excellent and showy combination example of this find. The Herb Obodda dealer label and price date to 1999, when these particular fluorites were brought to market by Herb. Chumar Bakhoor was not confirmed widely as the true locality for these pink fluorites at that time.
