Item Description
A great quality, older Fluorite specimen from the famous pegmatite near Nagar. The piece was mined in the mid 1990's. It features a nice quality, good-sized pink color cuboctahedron Fluorite crystal with well-defined, sharp faces sitting atop silvery Muscovite matrix. Virtually no damage to speak of and very displayable to boot. I don't have to tell you how the value of Nagar Fluorites has risen over the years, and this is good representative matrix Fluorite specimen of this material from this classic Pakistani locality. This is an uncommon specimen from this area which commonly features etched, or highly modified pale pink and green crystals of Fluorite. Ex Herb Obodda specimen, and priced at $2000 in his inventory, but I would say it's easily worth $2500 on the retail market.
