Fluorite on Muscovite

Item Description

A really attractive Fluorite specimen featuring attractive, gemmy, sharp, lustrous, purple and green bi-colored crystals measuring up to 1.3 cm across sitting atop silvery semi-metallic Muscovite matrix. The habit of the Fluorites is mostly cubic, but you can see distinct dodecahedral modifications along the corners of the larger crystals. Very good quality, no real damage that I can see with the naked eye, and it would make a great addition to any Chinese suite or a Fluorite collection. This piece comes to us from a prominent Midwest collection that we recently acquired.
