Fluorite on Muscovite

Item Description

A great quality, older Fluorite specimen from the famous pegmatite near Nagar. The piece was mined in the mid 1990's. It features good-sized, sharp, well-formed green cuboctahedrons of Fluorite measuring up to 4.1 cm across sitting atop silvery Muscovite on matrix. VERY little damage to speak of, and the main group in the middle doesn't seem to have any dings or nicks, and the piece is very displayable to boot. I don't have to tell you how the value of Nagar Fluorites has risen over the years, and this is a hard to find large cabinet sized matrix Fluorite specimen of this material from this classic Pakistani locality. Please note that there are some saw marks on the bottom. Priced at $3,000 in the inventory.
