Fluorite on Microcline with Smoky Quartz

This is a nice display specimen from one of the most storied and well known districts in Colorado. The pegmatites near the Lake George area of Colorado have produced what most collectors and dealers consider to be the finest Amazonite specimens from the standpoint of superb color, top quality, wonderful display specimens and excellent associations. This particular specimen, has no Amazonite, but it is a good overall piece featuring a good quality, sharp, lutrous, gemmy purple cubic crystal of Fluorite measuring 7 mm sitting on beige colored Microcline with crystals of Smoky Quartz. No real damage that I can find, and it's aesthetic to boot. Don't miss out on this Colorado "classic".
