Fluorite on gorgeous pink Dolomite (one-time find!)

An outstanding and RARE fluorite and dolomite COLOR combination from this much less well-known Fe-Mg-Au mine in Hunan Province. These fluorites are from a pocket collected at the end of 2016. I was actually in the mine several times to see it during that process, watching carefully. A striking, 4.0 cm, gemmy, beautiful sea-green cuboctahedron has glass-clear cube faces fantastically accented with broad etched beveled faces. The fluorite is dramatically set in a contrasting dense forest of lustrous, pretty pastel-pink, curved saddle-shaped dolomite rhombs. A truly superb combo specimen, surprising in its association, and to me one of the highlights of late 2016 in China. Purple fluorescence. Valued at $2000-3000. One of only a few we had for auction. In all, I do not think 50 good pieces came from this pocket. we have never seen a color association for fluorite like this. it is amazing!
