Fluorite on Galena (Consie Prince Coll.)

Galena and fluorite combination specimens from Elmwood are always desirable, with good specimens not being that common. The blocky, brilliant-metallic, galena crystals host a highly lustrous, translucent, near-colorless, 4.2 cm, fluorite cube with pretty purple highlights and impressive, stepped-growth faces. The periphery wear on the sides and back of the fluorite are mostly out of sight on this showy and excellent piece. Ex Consie Prince Collection.
